During my time at Scienseed, I have developed graphic design projects across a wide range of formats, including infographics, figures for scientific publications, visual identities, editorial layout design and motion graphics.

Motion Graphics

Within motion projects, I lead the storyboard development and scene illustration, building the visual structure and narrative that guide the animation process.

Conservation in motion

As part of this project, I developed the storytelling and visual concept, and was responsible for the design of Episodes 2 and 4 of the series. The project explores Doñana — one of Spain’s most iconic natural treasures and a living laboratory of extraordinary biological richness — through a series of animated videos aimed at communicating complex ecological concepts in a clear and engaging way.

Brain Donation

In collaboration with the American Foundation for Donation and Transplantation (AFDT), we created a motion graphic to raise awareness about the role of brain donation in Frontotemporal Degeneration (FTD) research.

I was responsible for the storyboard development and scene illustration, shaping the visual narrative that guided the animation.

INNOVAMAD+

INNOVAMAD+ is an innovation programme led by the CSIC to support high-potential scientific projects in their transition towards market-ready solutions.

This has been my favourite project developed for the CSIC so far. I was responsible for the storyboard, visual concept, colour development, character design and the illustration of all scenes, translating complex scientific innovations into engaging visual narratives.

OGMAR

OGMAR (Observatory of Marine Governance) is a multidisciplinary initiative focused on understanding and evaluating marine governance in protected marine areas. The platform enables users to assess governance processes through an interactive tool that transforms data and perception into knowledge for informed decision-making.

For this motion project, I was responsible for illustrating all the scenes, translating the platform’s purpose and functionality into clear and engaging visual sequences.

Layout Design

In my layout design projects, I am responsible for the overall concept, structure and visual organisation of the content. I develop the information hierarchy, design the layouts and create the internal visual elements, ensuring clarity, coherence and a strong visual identity throughout.

Sustainability Report INSUD

This project for Insud Pharma involved the layout design of their Sustainability Report. I was responsible for the visual design and the creation of the internal collages, developing a cohesive graphic language that supported and enhanced the content.

SHOWCASE – Guide

For the European project SHOWCASE, I designed the publication A Technical Guide to Managing Vineyards and Olive Groves for Bird and Bat Conservation in Europe. I was responsible for the complete visual design, layout and the creation of the internal infographics, ensuring clarity and consistency throughout the guide.

M4BG – Ebook

For the European project Micro4Biogas, where we act as a communication partner, I designed an ebook and roadmap titled “Unlock the Secrets of Biogas with the Anaerobic Microverse.”

The publication summarises the project’s key findings and strategic recommendations, translating complex scientific and policy content into a clear, structured and visually engaging guide focused on sustainable energy and effective policymaking.

Plas-Fighter

For PlasmidLab, I created an infographic based on the study “Exploring carbapenem resistance with CRISPRi.” The research investigates the role of the pOXA-48 plasmid in carbapenem resistance using plasmid-wide CRISPR interference.

My role was to translate complex genetic and molecular findings into a clear, visually structured summary that highlights the study’s key results.

CONNECT

For the CONNECT project, I created a scientific illustration of the Nervous System-on-Chip (NoC) model, an in vitro platform designed to replicate interactions between the Central and Enteric Nervous Systems.

The visual explains the organ-on-a-chip technology and the key techniques used to measure neuronal activity, including microscopy and patch-clamp recordings.

The brown bear in the Pyrenees

For the Generalitat de Catalunya, I adapted four informational posters on the brown bear in the Pyrenees: L’os bru als Pirineus, L’os bru: distribució i comportament, and L’os bru i la coexistència amb la ramaderia.

I was responsible for the visual adaptation and layout refinement, ensuring clarity, coherence and accessibility of the scientific and environmental content.

From brief to final brand, I create visual identities for laboratories and scientific projects, translating complex research environments into clear and distinctive visual systems.

Under each of these projects — EURECA, HARMONIE, AUSPIRE, ATMOPOLIS and INNOSTROKE — I created the visual identity from the ground up.

Starting with the logo, I developed complete visual systems later implemented across digital platforms, events and communication assets, ensuring consistency and strong scientific positioning.

mAbxience CPHI

CPHI is the world’s leading pharmaceutical industry event, bringing together more than 60,000 professionals, exhibitors and buyers across the entire supply chain. Focused on innovation, knowledge exchange and business networking, it is one of the most important international trade fairs in the sector.

For the editions held in Frankfurt and Milan, I collaborated on the design of mAbxience’s exhibition space on two occasions. I contributed to the development of the booth panels and the interactive screen content, ensuring a cohesive brand presence and an engaging visitor experience.
